FAQ

How many people can I reserve a table for?

For the moment we will only be accepting bookings of 2-6 in the restaurant. Please note that the members of each party must come from no more than two separate households.

Are walk-ins welcome?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome but we require that you provide your contact details when you arrive as per the government ‘track and trace’ guidelines or use the Track and Trace app to "check-in". We will prioritise guests with bookings so we encourage guests to reserve a space. We also ask that if you do join us without a reservation, that you wait until a staff member can safely seat you.

Will you be changing your service style to be more physically distanced?

The team has been retrained on socially distanced service practices, without changing the friendly and attentive service that you know and love. We will still be offering our full wine and drinks menus as well as our non-alcoholic, cocktail and wine flights. We are developing ways to reduce the number of visits to your table such as drinks and dishes being brought out in groups, but rest assured our cleaning practices have always been rigorous and this will continue with extra diligence once we re-open.

Will your teams be wearing any extra PPE?

According to the Government laws, our team will wear a mask when serving and providing table service, or moving about the market on busy days. They are required to wash and sanitise their hands upon re-entry into the kitchen. We routinely check with our team to make sure they feel they are being protected during this pandemic and provide them with gloves, masks and sanitiser as well as extensive COVID-19 health and safety training.

Will you install screens in the restaurant in between tables?

Our tables have been spaced at least 1.5 metres apart, or back-to back seating which allows comfortable dining for all our guests. As with the PPE, the government guidelines have not insisted any additional measures be put in place. If you have any concerns, please contact us directly.

Staff have been trained on our new procedures including our standard operating procedures and policy. Each member of staff has been briefed on all virus symptoms and if they are unwell they will be signed off work until they are tested and it comes back negative. We are paying all staff in full for any sick leave they need to ensure no-one is coming to work unwell.
